Marathi mehendi sohala invitation
A Maharashtrian mehendi sohala comes with ukhane — the rhyming couplets in which a bride or groom slips in their partner’s name — and usually a little lavani by the end. This invite is purple Paithani with woven gold bands and a peacock; in Devanagari mode it reads मेहंदी सोहळा and closes with “nauvari optional, dancing compulsory”.
