A reproducible corpus
Use synthetic documents with known content: searchable resumes, scanned pages, image-heavy documents, tables, forms, malformed inputs and protected files. Publish the inputs and expected properties without personal data.
Measure the right things
Measure output size, quality, runtime, text preservation, editability, metadata, error handling and cancellation. Run repeated jobs to identify memory retention. Record hardware, browser, engine version and exact settings.
Privacy verification
Mark inputs with unique synthetic strings and inspect all outgoing request bodies. Repeat after installation and an offline reload. Assert that every network request is either an expected asset request or an explicit peer operation.
Launch gates
Every catalog entry requires a tested engine, reviewed instructions, example and browser capability record. Benchmarks require genuine measurements. A green build does not establish all these facts.
