Percent means divide by 100: 200 + 10% = 200.1. For a 10% increase, use 200 * (1 + 10%). Powers bind before multiplication and unary signs, so -2^2 = -4. Floating-point results are approximate.

A little guidance.

How to use everyday calculator

  1. Type an arithmetic expression or try the bill example.
  2. Review the settings and the stated limitations.
  3. Review the expression, choose Calculate, then copy the result.

Formats and compatibility

Calculations run locally. Group summaries download as plain text. No cloud group synchronisation or actual payments. See browser compatibility.

Limitations

Approximate floating-point arithmetic. Percent divides by 100; powers bind before unary signs. Not a financial or symbolic calculator.

Questions, answered.

Do my files leave my device?

Processing adapters run in your browser. Fonts and code are served from this site. A peer transfer is a separate, explicit transmission; this tool never sends your content to an AI service.

Can I use it offline?

This build needs its code assets to load. Verified, installable offline packs are a launch requirement and are still in development.

What if my inputs are invalid?

The workspace displays a specific error. Try a smaller synthetic example or a supported format. Keep your originals and review exported files before relying on them.
