How is typing speed calculated in this test?

Every 5 keystrokes (spaces included) count as one word. Gross WPM is words typed per minute; net WPM subtracts one word per minute for each uncorrected error. Accuracy is the share of keystrokes that were right when typed. Key depressions per hour (KDPH) = WPM × 300.

Can I take a Hindi typing test without a Hindi keyboard?

Yes. Choose Hindi and your normal keyboard types Inscript Hindi in the test box (for example K = क, F = ि). An installed Hindi Inscript keyboard also works.

Is this the official SSC typing test?

No. The 10-minute option is modelled on the common pattern of government skill tests, but it is a free practice tool. Official rules differ by exam and year; always follow your notification.
