Common questions
Where do I apply for central government scholarships?
Most central schemes, such as the post-matric scholarships, the Central Sector Scheme and PM YASASVI, are applied for on the National Scholarship Portal (scholarships.gov.in). State schemes use their own portals, which we link for each scholarship.
What counts as family income?
Usually the total annual income of parents or guardians from all sources, backed by an income certificate from the competent authority. Each scheme defines it in its guidelines.
Can I get two scholarships at the same time?
Most government schemes do not allow you to hold another scholarship for the same course at the same time. Private scholarships vary. Read each scheme’s rules before you accept.
Should I pay an agent to apply?
No. Government scholarship applications are free. Apply yourself on the official portal and keep your login details private.
