Upanayanam invitation video
At the upanayanam a boy receives the sacred thread and the Gayatri mantra from his father and begins his life as a student. This invite is drawn for that morning: saffron-cream paper, a red kolam border, a white conch and a mandala turning slowly like homa smoke, with “Chi. Aditya” and the muhurtham on the details card.
How to make a upanayanam invitation
- Fill in the details. Type vatu (the boy’s name), date, time, venue.
- Add photos. Add 1–8 photos or clips from your phone. They are ordered by the time they were taken.

Why write “Chi.” before the name?
Chiranjeevi (Chi.) is the traditional blessing written before a boy’s name on invitations; keep it or remove it.
Can I add the muhurtham time?
Yes. The time field reads as the muhurtham on the details card; add the reception or nalangu as extra functions.
Can I add the samavartanam or the lunch?
Yes. Put it in “Line under the title” or the closing line — for example “Lunch follows at 12:30”.
Is this upanayanam invitation video maker really free?
