More for today
Your state is saved only in this browser.
How it works
- Panchang (tithi, nakshatra, sunrise, sunset, Rahu kaal) is calculated for your chosen city with the same engine as our panchang page.
- The non-veg answer uses the rules you saved on the non-veg today page. If you have not set them up yet, there is a link to do it in a minute.
- Bank and dry day answers come from the RBI holiday list and state excise orders for your state.
- City, state and rules are stored only in this browser. Nothing is sent anywhere.
Questions people ask
Which time zone does this page use?
India time (IST). "Today" changes at midnight IST even if your phone is set to another zone, and sunrise and Rahu kaal are shown in IST for your city.
How do I change the city or state?
Tap the city or state chip on each card. Your choice is remembered on this device for the panchang, bank and dry day pages too.
Is my location sent anywhere?
No. If you use "my location" in the city picker, it is used only on your device to find the nearest city.
