How to read your rashifal
In India the rashifal follows the moon sign, not the sun sign. For each rashi we count which house the Moon is in today, which tara today's nakshatra is for that rashi's nakshatras, and where the other grahas sit.
Each rashi page shows those transits as "why" chips, plus the next 7 days, the next Chandrashtama and a table of today's planets. Lucky colour, number and direction come only from the weekday lord, and the page says so.
Rashifal: common questions
How is today’s rashifal worked out?
For each rashi we count the Moon’s house (Chandra gochar), the tara bala from today’s nakshatra, Chandrashtama, and the houses of the other eight grahas. These give scores for love, work, money and health, and the text is picked from sentences written for those transits.
How do I know my rashi?
Indian rashifal uses the moon sign: the sign the Moon was in when you were born. Enter your birth date, time and place in the finder on this page, or make your full kundli.
When does the rashifal change?
Every day by Indian time (IST). Positions are taken at 6:00 am IST; if the Moon changes sign during the day, the page shows the time.
