    Questions about government schemes

How do I check which government schemes I am eligible for?

Answer the questions above about your age, state, income, work, ration card and family. The finder checks every scheme’s official rules on your device and lists the schemes you may get, the ones that need one more check, and why the rest do not fit. Then apply free on the official portal linked on each scheme.

Is this an official government website?

No. IndiaDigital is an independent, free site. We read the official portals and link to them for every scheme. Always apply on the official site, which we link on each card.

Are my answers saved or sent anywhere?

No. The matching runs in your browser and nothing you enter is uploaded. If you tick "Remember my answers", they are saved only in this browser’s local storage, and "Start over" clears them.

How is the "you could get up to" amount worked out?

We add up only schemes with a fixed cash amount, such as PM-KISAN (₹6,000 a year) or a state’s monthly payment to women, and show one-time amounts separately. Loans, insurance and help in kind are not counted. The real amount depends on approval by the department.

Do I have to pay to apply for a government scheme?

No. Applying is free on the official portals. Common Service Centres may charge a small notified fee. Never pay an agent who promises approval, and never share an OTP.

How often is the list updated?

Every scheme shows the date we last checked it and links to the official source. State schemes change with budgets and governments, so we mark amounts that change often and ask you to confirm them on the official site.

    Sources and last check

Every scheme here comes from its official government portal or a state government page. We last checked the list on 1 Nov 2026. Rules change with each notification: please confirm on the official website before you act. Spotted something out of date? Tell us.
