Pick one of 113 animated themes for a wedding, birthday, Diwali party, griha pravesh or any of 87 occasions, add your functions, maps and photos in English and Hindi (or another Indian language), and share one link on WhatsApp. Guests need no app or login, RSVP is optional, and everything is deleted 7, 30 or 90 days after the event.

  • IndiaDigital Invites is a free online invitation maker from IndiaDigital.org for Indian functions: you make an animated invite website (a digital invitation card that opens from one link) and share it on WhatsApp.
  • Price: free. Publishing, RSVP, the headcount dashboard, Excel export, personal guest links, a password and up to 30 photos are included. There is no paid plan.
  • Themes: 113 animated themes (doors, toran, mandap, diyas, lanterns and more), each with several colour options. Occasions: 87, from weddings and birthdays to Diwali, griha pravesh, naamkaran, puja, office events and prayer meetings.
  • Guests need no app and no login: the invite opens in WhatsApp or any phone browser.
  • Languages: every line has an English box and a second box for Hindi or any Indian language (Marathi, Gujarati, Bengali, Tamil, Telugu, Punjabi, Urdu and others). Guests switch with one tap.
  • RSVP is optional. When it is on, guests reply yes or no, how many people and which functions, and the host sees a headcount for each function.
  • Each function gets its date, time, venue, dress code, a Google Maps button and Add to calendar. A live countdown, music and a photo story are optional.
  • Privacy: the invite, photos and replies are deleted permanently 7, 30 or 90 days after the last function (the host chooses). Guest pages are hidden from search engines and can have a password.

An invite website is different: guests must be able to open it, so the invite, its photos and replies are stored on our server until 7, 30 or 90 days after your last function (you choose), then permanently deleted, with no copies kept. Is it really free?

Yes. Making, publishing, replies, the headcount dashboard, Excel export, personal links, a password and up to 30 photos are all free. There is no paid plan and nothing to unlock.

Do guests need an app or an account?

No. Guests open a link in WhatsApp or any browser. The page is built to load fast on ordinary phones over 4G.

How many invitation themes are there?

113 animated themes, each with several colours: doors, toran, mandap, diyas, sky lanterns, rangoli, gopuram, nikah night, church bells, cake, rocket and more. Every occasion page shows the themes made for it, and you can change the theme after sharing.

Is it a digital invitation card or a website?

Both. Guests tap a link and see a card that opens with an animation, then scroll a small website with every function, maps, photos and the RSVP. For printed cards there is a QR card, and a matching video invite maker for forwarding.

What happens to our photos and replies?

They are stored on IndiaDigital’s server only so guests can open the page, and are permanently deleted 7, 30 or 90 days after your last function (you choose). You can delete everything earlier from your edit link.

Can I change the design after sending the link?

Yes. Open your edit link, pick another design or colour and save. The link stays the same, so nobody needs a new one.

Can the invite be in Hindi or my language?

Every line has an English box and a second box for Hindi or any Indian language: Marathi, Bengali, Tamil, Telugu, Gujarati, Punjabi, Urdu and more. Guests switch with one tap.

How do I know who is coming?

Guests reply on the page (yes or no, how many people, which functions). Your dashboard shows the headcount for each function and downloads it as Excel or CSV for the caterer. Replies are optional: switch them off and guests see just the invite.
