What went wrong?
Who is it with?
How it works
- The letter is written on this device and saved as a PDF with the same engine as our ready drafts. Nothing you type is uploaded.
- It names the problem in the words of the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 ("defect", "deficiency in service", "unfair trade practice") and, for online sellers, the E-Commerce Rules, 2020 that require acknowledgement in 48 hours and resolution in one month.
- Give the company 15 days (you can choose 7 to 30). Then use the National Consumer Helpline 1915, which is free and works before any court case, and the sector ombudsman for banks, insurance, flights and telecom.
- If that fails, our legal notice draft carries over your details, and the Consumer Commission takes complaints online on e-Jagriti: no fee for up to ₹5 lakh, and you can argue your own case.
