Common traps: Telegram and WhatsApp "VIP tip" groups, guaranteed returns, pump and dump of small shares, fake trading apps that show fake profits and block withdrawals, and payments to personal UPI IDs. Before trusting anyone, check their registration on the SEBI website. Complaints against registered brokers and advisers go to SEBI SCORES.
