Is the IndiaDigital rent agreement legally valid?
It is a general format, not legal advice. A rent agreement becomes usable when it is printed on stamp paper (or with an e-stamp certificate) of the value your state requires and signed by both parties and two witnesses. Leases of more than one year must be registered under the Registration Act, 1908. For a dispute or a large amount, consult a lawyer.
Is the IndiaDigital draft really free?
Yes. Filling, previewing and downloading Word or PDF are free, with no account. Stamp paper or e-stamp duty is a government charge you pay separately.
Does IndiaDigital arrange a notary?
