Both give affidavit formats, and neither replaces the notary: LegalDesk's page says to swear the affidavit before a notary or magistrate, and our formats say the same. IndiaDigital's affidavits are free and come in English or Hindi.

Frequently asked questions
Is the IndiaDigital rent agreement legally valid?
It is a general format, not legal advice. A rent agreement becomes usable when it is printed on stamp paper (or with an e-stamp certificate) of the value your state requires and signed by both parties and two witnesses. Leases of more than one year must be registered under the Registration Act, 1908. For a dispute or a large amount, consult a lawyer.
Does either service notarise an affidavit?
No. LegalDesk's page says to swear the affidavit before a notary or magistrate. IndiaDigital's formats are printed on stamp paper and then attested by a notary or oath commissioner.
Does IndiaDigital provide stamp paper?
No. Buy stamp paper or an e-stamp certificate for your state, then print the draft on it.
