- Chandrashtama: when the Moon is in the 8th house, the advice is to go slow.

How is this Vrishchik rashifal made?
It is computed from the actual sky: the Moon's house counted from Vrishchik (Chandra gochar), today's tara bala for the Vishakha (1 pada), Anuradha, Jyeshtha nakshatras, Chandrashtama, and the houses of the Sun, Mars, Mercury, Jupiter, Venus, Saturn, Rahu and Ketu from Vrishchik. Each area gets a score and the text is picked from sentences written for those transits. Nothing is random.
Is this by moon sign or sun sign?
By moon sign (rashi), the Indian way, using the sidereal zodiac (Lahiri ayanamsa). Vrishchik is not the same as the western sun sign Scorpio: many people born as Scorpio have a different rashi. Use the moon sign finder on the rashifal page if you are not sure.
What is Chandrashtama?
Chandrashtama is when the Moon passes the 8th sign from your moon sign. For Vrishchik that is when the Moon is in Mithun, about two and a half days every month. Tradition says go slow: avoid new starts and heated talks. It is not a reason to worry.
Is Vrishchik in Sade Sati now?
Sade Sati is the roughly seven and a half years when Saturn moves through the 12th, 1st and 2nd signs from your moon sign. Right now Saturn is in the 5th house from Vrishchik, so Sade Sati is not running.
