What is Jan Aadhaar?
Jan Aadhaar is Rajasthan’s family card: one 10-digit family number and an 11-digit number for each member. Almost every state scheme (pension, MAA health, scholarships, ration, Lado) pays through it.
Keep your Jan Aadhaar correct: a wrong bank account, missing member or unlinked Aadhaar is the most common reason state payments stop.
Who can use it?
- Every family living in Rajasthan can enrol free of cost.
- A woman aged 18 or more is made the head of the family; if there is none, a man aged 21 or more; otherwise the eldest member.
- The card is accepted as proof of identity, address and family relationship for state services.

- An adult member fills in the family details with each member’s Aadhaar and uploads documents; the head of family’s bank account is needed for cash benefits.
