Who is eligible for UP Scholarship?
- Students of Uttar Pradesh studying in class 9 or above in a recognised institution, in the SC, ST, OBC, general (low income) or minority categories.
- Family income within the limit set for the category (the limits differ for SC/ST, OBC, general and minority students; see the rules on the portal).
- One Time Registration (OTR) on the portal is compulsory from the 2025-26 session.

- Do One Time Registration (OTR) first on scholarship.up.gov.in.
- Log in as a fresh or renewal student under the right scheme: Pre-matric (class 9 and 10), Post-matric Inter (class 11 and 12) or Post-matric other than Inter (graduation and above).
- Fill the form, upload documents, submit, print the form and give it with copies to your school or college before the last date.
