What you can do
- Check background and terms before trusting a new partner.
- Keep a simple routine and look after your health.
- Check facts before you act on tempting offers, especially money messages and links. Our free scam checker can help.
- Keep screen time and late nights in check. Rahu feeds on restlessness; Ketu likes quiet.
- A few minutes of meditation or breathing each day steadies the mind. No costly puja or gemstone is needed.
Keep it in balance
- Rahu and Ketu magnify the area they sit in. They do not punish. Used well, Rahu’s hunger becomes ambition and Ketu’s detachment becomes calm.
- In 2027 Rahu is in Makar, a sign of Shani. Many astrologers say Rahu is steadier in Shani’s signs.
- This transit is not Kaal Sarp dosha. Kaal Sarp is read only from your birth chart, and even there it is often cancelled.
- Your own dasha (the planet period running in your life) matters most. If you are not in a Rahu or Ketu dasha, this transit is usually mild.

This page counts from your moon sign only, which is how rashifal works. Your full kundli adds your lagna, your dasha and the vedha checks. It runs on your phone; your birth details never leave it.
How these dates are worked out
Positions are sidereal (Lahiri ayanamsa), apparent geocentric, with mean Rahu and Ketu, from the same engine our panchang and kundli use. Sign changes and retrograde stations are found to within a minute and shown as calendar dates in IST. Houses are whole signs counted from the moon sign.
Rahu and Ketu are not physical planets. They are two points where the Moon’s path crosses the Sun’s path, always exactly opposite each other. Rahu stands for hunger, new and unusual things; Ketu for letting go, detachment and inner life. Rahu and Ketu stay about one and a half years in each sign and always move backward through the zodiac.
