What is SSP scholarship?
ssp.karnataka.gov.in is the single portal for Karnataka government scholarships: one application covers post-matric schemes (Class 11 and above) and pre-matric schemes (Classes 1 to 10) of the Social Welfare, Tribal Welfare, Backward Classes, Minority Welfare, Agriculture, Labour and other departments. Money goes by DBT to the Aadhaar-seeded bank account.

Who can use it?
- Students of Karnataka who fit at least one scheme on the portal: SC, ST, OBC, minority, disabled students, children of farmers, construction workers, weavers, fishermen and taxi drivers, and others.
- Each scheme has its own income limit and rules; the portal matches you to schemes from one common application.

How to log in and apply on SSP scholarship
- Open ssp.karnataka.gov.in and create an account with the student's Aadhaar number, name and gender as in Aadhaar, and a mobile number.
- Log in to Postmatric (Class 11 and above) or Prematric (Class 1 to 10) for FY 2026-27.
- Post-matric: enter the SSLC registration number, RD numbers of caste and income certificates, university or board registration number, NSP OTR number (SC, ST, OBC) and hostel or day-scholar status. Pre-matric: enter the SATS ID from the school, RD numbers and the OTR number.
- Upload documents for e-attestation if asked, and submit before your department's last date.
