Reminder and thank-you messages after you have invited
The invitation is only the first message. Guests forget dates, lose the address and need the map on the morning itself, and after the function, a few kind words of thanks matter as much as the invite. Here is when to send each follow-up, how to keep it gentle rather than pushy, and ready messages in English and Hindi for weddings, birthdays, pujas and prayer meetings.

When to send what
Reply reminder: two or three days before the RSVP date, only to those who have not answered. Day-before reminder: the evening before the function, with the time and the dress code. Morning-of message: the map link, for guests who will tap it from the car. Thank-you: within two days of the function.
That is at most three follow-ups for any guest. More than that starts to feel like pressure. If a time or venue changes, send that change separately and clearly, and update the invite page so the link always shows the latest details.
Wedding reminders
Mention the function by name, during a wedding week, guests mix up the haldi and the mehendi.

Keep these light. For children’s parties, the parent’s phone number on the message saves a lot of confusion at pick-up time.

Should I send reminders in a group?
Day-before and morning-of reminders can go to a family group. Reply reminders should always go individually, so no one feels singled out.
Do guests need the link again on the day?
It helps. Guests open the same link, tap the map button and can add the function to their calendar if they have not already.
Is a thank-you needed after a prayer meeting?
A short message of gratitude to those who came or called is considerate and widely appreciated, without photos or celebration.
