A Christian wedding in India often spans more than the church service. Goan and Mangalorean Catholic families may hold a roce the day before, where the bride and groom are anointed with coconut milk and turmeric. Kerala’s Syrian Christian families have the madhuram vaykkal and the minnu kettu, and Protestant and Catholic families in the North East, Tamil Nadu and Mumbai each have their own customs. The Holy Matrimony or nuptial mass is usually in the afternoon or morning, followed by a reception with a toast, a grand march, the cake and dinner.
Guests need two addresses, the church and the reception hall, and the time between them. This free page shows both, each with its own Google Maps button and Add to calendar, along with the dress code. Guests reply with how many people are coming so you have a firm number for the caterer, and you can download the list as Excel. Add a verse as the blessing line, a photo story of how you met, and switch the page between English and Hindi or Malayalam for family abroad and at home.
