When Bappa comes home, the doors stay open. Families bring the idol home on Ganesh Chaturthi and do the sthapana at the muhurat, then hold aarti every morning and evening until the visarjan. Some keep Ganpati for one and a half days, others for three, five, seven or the full ten days until Anant Chaturdashi. Friends and relatives drop in for darshan at different times, so the most useful thing an invitation can do is say clearly when the aartis are, when prasad is served and on which day and time the visarjan procession leaves.
This free invite page lets you list the sthapana, each aarti and the visarjan with their own dates and times, so guests can choose the moment that suits them. Every timing gets a Google Maps button and an Add to calendar link, and guests can tell you which aarti they will attend, which helps when you are making modaks for a crowd. Switch the page to Marathi or Hindi for elders, and print a QR card for the building entrance.
