A Mata ki chowki is an evening of devotion to Mata Rani held at home or in a community hall, often during Navratri, after a wish is fulfilled or on a family occasion. A bhajan mandali sings for two or three hours, the jyot is lit, and the evening ends with aarti and a bhandara or prasad for everyone. A jagran is the longer form that goes on through the night until dawn. Guests come and go through the evening, so it helps to tell them when the chowki starts, when the aarti will be, and when the bhandara is served.
This free invite page lists the chowki, jagran, aarti and bhandara with their own times, each with a Google Maps button and Add to calendar link. Guests reply with how many people are coming so you can plan the bhandara, and a QR code on the colony notice board brings neighbours to the same page. The text reads in Hindi or English with one tap, and the design opens with marigolds and a gentle tabla tune.
