Aqiqah is the Sunnah of thanking Allah for a newborn, traditionally on the seventh day after birth, or later if the family needs more time. The baby’s head is shaved, the name is announced, and an animal is sacrificed, with the meat shared among family, neighbours and those in need. Most families then hold a dawat at home or in a hall, where relatives come to see the baby and make dua for a healthy, righteous life.
Because the date is so close to the birth, there is rarely time for printed cards. This free invite page puts the aqiqah and dawat timings, the address and a Google Maps button on one link, and lets relatives reply with how many family members are coming, which matters when the meal is being cooked in large degs. The design is calm, music is off by default, and you can write the words in Hindi, Urdu or English.
