Find a railway station code
Type a station name or code. NDLS, CSMT, HWH, MAS: find what they mean, or the code you need for booking.

98 major stations with state and zone.
How it works
- Station codes and names come from the Ministry of Railways open timetable on data.gov.in. State and zone are shown for about a hundred major stations that we added by hand.
- Tap a station to see the trains that stop there in the open timetable, and to search trains from it.
Questions people ask
Why does my small station show no state or zone?
The open timetable has only codes and names. We added state and zone for major stations; for the rest, the station’s railway division appears on its NTES page.
A station got a new name. Which code do I use?
Use the code IRCTC shows when you type the new name. Renamed stations often get a new code too (for example Jhansi is now VGLJ).
