Check your PUC online
Parivahan’s PUC site shows and prints valid certificates by registration number. You type it there, not here.
puc.parivahan.gov.in ↗How it works
- PUC: a new vehicle’s first PUC is valid one year from registration. After that, BS-IV and BS-VI vehicles get 12 months and older vehicles 6 months (CMVR rule 115). The validity printed on your certificate is what counts.
- A draft rule of July 2026 proposes longer PUC validity for newer BS-VI vehicles. It is not final; we will update when it is notified.
- Insurance: third-party cover is compulsory. New cars come with 3-year and new two-wheelers with 5-year third-party cover; own-damage cover is usually yearly.
- Reminders are saved on this device only. Turn on push in Mera to get them even when the site is closed.
