How the dates are worked out
- Expected dates: Umm al-Qura places 1 Ramzan 1448 on 8 February 2027 in Saudi Arabia; India has started one day later in recent years, so 9 February. If the moon is seen a day earlier or later, every date moves by one day.
- Sehri ends at the start of Fajr (Karachi 18 degrees by default). Many people stop eating a few minutes earlier as a precaution; you can add that margin.
- Iftar is at sunset (Maghrib). Follow the siren or azan of your local masjid.
- The timetable is computed on your phone and printed from your browser. Nothing is uploaded.
Questions people ask
When will Ramzan 2027 start in India?
It is expected to begin with the first roza on Tuesday 9 February 2027, if the crescent is seen on the evening of 8 February. Eid-ul-Fitr is then expected on 10 March 2027, which is also the date in the DoPT holiday list.
Is sehri time the same as Fajr?
Yes, sehri must end when Fajr begins. Printed timetables often show sehri a few minutes before Fajr for safety; use the safety margin setting to match yours.
Can I print it?
