How the dates are worked out
- The Shahenshahi year has twelve months of thirty days and five Gatha days, with no leap day, so Navroz moves one day earlier about every four years (15 August until 2027, 14 August from 2028).
- Kadmi Parsis keep their new year about a month earlier; Jamshedi Navroz follows the Fasli (seasonal) calendar on 21 March.
- Your agiary or anjuman calendar is final.
