Photograph the paper. We tell you what it says.
Amount to pay, last date, what they want, what to do now, and whether it looks fake. In plain English or Hindi, read aloud if you like.

Works for: income tax intimation 143(1), GST notices, traffic e-challan, MSEDCL and BSES electricity bills, bank letters.

How it works
- Your photo is read on your phone with the site's own text reader (English and Hindi print). Nothing is uploaded.
- A rule pack for each kind of paper, written from the official format, finds the amount, the dates and the notice type. No AI guesses the figures.
- If the paper gives "within 30 days" instead of a date, we count from the date on the paper and say so.
- Warning signs of a fake: pay to a UPI ID, Gmail sender, look-alike website, app file, OTP request, threat of arrest or a cut "tonight", or an ID in the wrong shape.
- Five papers so far: income tax intimation 143(1), GST notices, traffic e-challan, MSEDCL and BSES electricity bills, and bank letters.
- Everything happens on your phone: the photo, the text and the answer never leave it. We do not keep or see your paper.
Questions people ask
Is this tax or legal advice?
No. It explains what the paper says and where to act. For a large tax demand, a GST show cause notice, SARFAESI or a cheque bounce notice, speak to a professional. Free legal aid: 15100.
How do I know if a notice is real?
Open the official portal yourself (incometax.gov.in, gst.gov.in, echallan.parivahan.gov.in or your bank's app) and look for it there. A real income tax or GST notice is always listed on the portal. Never pay through a link, QR code or UPI ID in a message.
The photo was not read well. What now?
Lay the paper flat in good light, hold the phone straight above it and fill the screen with the paper. You can also paste or type the text in the box below the photo button.
Can it remind me of the last date?
Yes. Tap "Remind me in Mera" and the date is saved on this phone in Mera IndiaDigital, with a reminder before it. Only a short label and the date are saved, never the amount or any number.
Can I keep my scans safely?
Yes, in the locked vault under the answer. Your scans are locked with a passphrase you choose and stay only in this browser. Nobody can open them without the passphrase, not even us, so if you forget it they cannot be recovered.
Which other papers will it read?
Next on the list: hospital bills, court summons, insurance letters and bills of more electricity companies. Each needs a rule pack checked against the official format first.
