Practice levels
0 of 7 levels done · 0 of 21 stars
- 1. Pay or collect? Know which way money goesOn UPI you never enter your PIN to receive money. A PIN always sends money out.
- 2. Check the name before you payAfter you scan a QR code, the app shows whose account the money goes to. Read it every time.
- 3. Your PIN goes only in your own appYour UPI PIN is like the key to your money box. You type it only inside your own UPI app, when you are paying someone yourself.
- 4. Spot the fake KYC messageFake messages try to scare you and make you hurry. A short link and "today" or "blocked" are warning signs.
- 5. An OTP is never for sharingAn OTP is a one-time password. Whoever has it can finish a payment or a login as you. Read what the OTP is for.
- 6. DigiLocker walkthrough (practice)DigiLocker is the government's free app for your documents, such as marksheets, driving licence and Aadhaar. Practise the steps here. This is not the real app.
- 7. Video call scam: "digital arrest"Scammers dress up as police or officers on a video call, scare you and keep you on the call for hours. Real police never arrest anyone on a video call.

How it works
- Every screen here is a practice copy drawn by IndiaDigital. It has no bank, NPCI or government logo and says PRACTICE on it.
- Pick the answer you would really choose. A wrong answer shows what would have happened, then you try again.
- Stars: three for no mistakes, two for one mistake, one for more. Replaying a level never lowers your stars.
- Tap "Listen" to hear each question. It uses your phone's own voice, or the natural voice if you chose it in Saral mode.
- Finish all seven levels to download a certificate. Your progress stays only on this phone.
Questions people ask
Is this a real UPI or DigiLocker app?
No. These are fake screens for practice only. Nothing here can send money, read your messages or open your accounts.
Who is this for?
Anyone new to UPI and smartphones: parents, grandparents, first-time users. Children can sit with them and go level by level.
What should I do if I have already lost money?
Call 1930 at once (national cyber fraud helpline) or report on cybercrime.gov.in, and tell your bank. The sooner you report, the better the chance of stopping the money.
Does the certificate prove anything?
It shows the levels were completed on this phone. It is free and self-paced, and it does not verify identity.
