How it works
- Say or type a line like “Ramesh ko 200 udhaar”, “Sita se 500 mile”, “रमेश को दो सौ उधार दिए” or “gave Mohan 150”. Check the entry before it is saved.
- Voice is recognised on your phone where the browser can do it on the device. Otherwise we ask first, because some browsers send audio to their own servers.
- The book is the same one as our khata ledger tool, saved only in this browser. Export it as CSV for a backup.
- Reminders open WhatsApp with a polite message ready; you send it from your own number. Show the UPI QR at the counter to collect on the spot.
Questions people ask
Is my khata stored online?
No. It stays in this browser on this phone. Clearing browser data deletes it, so export a CSV now and then.
Does it cost anything to send reminders?
No. The reminder opens your own WhatsApp with the text filled in. No business account or paid service is used.
