Claude (claude.ai and Claude Desktop)

Open Settings, then Connectors, choose Add custom connector, name it IndiaDigital and paste the server URL. No sign-in is needed.

In Settings, open Apps and Connectors, turn on Developer mode under Advanced settings, then create a connector with the server URL and Authentication set to No authentication. Workspace admins may need to allow custom connectors first.

Tools

Every tool is read-only: it changes nothing, sends no messages and stores nothing. Each one returns structured data with a published output schema.

Find the right tool

• search_tools: Search 200+ free tools, task shortcuts (for example "compress PDF to 100 KB") and Smart Answers. Works with Hindi and Hinglish phrasing. Returns links.
• get_tool: Details for one tool: what it does, accepted files, limits and its link.

Tax, GST and money

• compare_tax_regimes: Old vs new income tax regime for tax year 2026-27, with the full working.
• calculate_gst: Add GST to an amount or take it out of a GST-inclusive price.
• check_gst_registration: Does this business need GST registration in its state?
• salary_in_hand: Yearly CTC to monthly take-home pay after PF, professional tax and income tax.
• savings_maturity: Maturity value of PPF, Sukanya Samriddhi, fixed and recurring deposits at current rates.
• live_gold_silver_price: Gold or silver price per gram in rupees, spot and an Indian market estimate with duty. (Calls gold-api.com and a public exchange-rate source.)
• convert_currency: Convert between rupees and 150+ currencies at the daily reference rate. (Calls a public exchange-rate source.)

Privacy for the MCP server

What the server processes

Only what the assistant sends in a tool call, such as a salary figure, a GST rate, a currency code or a search phrase. The answer is worked out in memory on our Cloudflare Worker and returned at once. The server has no accounts, sets no cookies and never receives files. Video recipes travel in the part of the link after "#", which browsers never send to any server.

What is stored

Nothing from your requests. We do not log tool arguments or results. To keep the free service fair, Cloudflare's rate limiter counts requests per network address (up to 60 a minute). That counter is transient: Cloudflare holds it for about a minute and we never see or keep it. Cloudflare may keep short-lived operational traces for a small sample of requests (timings and errors, not request bodies), as described in its own privacy policy.

Third-party services

• live_gold_silver_price asks gold-api.com for the spot price and a public exchange-rate source for USD to INR.
• convert_currency asks the fawazahmed0 exchange-api (served through cdn.jsdelivr.net, with a currency-api.pages.dev mirror) and, if that fails, Frankfurter (ECB reference rates).

These requests are made from our server and carry only the metal or currency codes. Your IP address, your assistant's identity and your other inputs are not passed on. No other tool calls any outside service.
