Unlimited Class 5 maths practice: lakhs and place value, Roman numerals to 100, large multiplication and division, HCF and LCM, primes, fractions, decimals, unit conversion, angles, area, perimeter and volume, time and calendar, and averages from data tables, with hints, worked steps and mistake checks.

Numbers

Large numbers and place value (lakhs)Indian system: ones, tens, hundreds, thousands, ten thousands, lakhs, ten lakhs. Commas: 12,34,567.
Roman numerals up to 100I 1, V 5, X 10, L 50, C 100. Smaller before bigger means subtract: XL = 40, XC = 90.

Multiplication

Multiply 3- and 4-digit numbers by 2-digit numbersMultiply by the ones digit, then by the tens (shift one place left), then add.

Decimals

Measurement

Convert units with decimals1 kg = 1000 g, 1 L = 1000 mL, 1 km = 1000 m, 1 m = 100 cm. Big → small: multiply; small → big: divide.

Shapes and angles

Angles: acute, right, obtuse, straightAcute < 90°, right = 90°, obtuse between 90° and 180°, straight = 180°. Clock hands move 30° per hour mark.

Mensuration

Time

Time and calendar problemsCount the days left in the first month, add full months, then the days in the last month. 1 hour = 60 min.

Data handling

Read data tables: totals and averagesAverage = total ÷ number of values. Read the table carefully first.
