Take it step by step
- Sign in only through the official DigiLocker service or its official app.
- Check Issued Documents for records supplied by participating issuers.
- Treat Uploaded Documents as files you added yourself; uploading a scan does not make it an issuer-provided record.
- If a record is missing or incorrect, use the issuer/DigiLocker guidance rather than changing the official document locally.
- Before sharing, confirm which document and verification method the receiving institution requests.
A situation to try.
A scanned marksheet you upload and a marksheet fetched from its issuing board are different records. Choose the issuer-provided record when that is what the institution asks for.

- Read the issuer and document details.
- Check whether the record is issued or uploaded.
- Keep issuer signatures and QR codes intact.
Know the limits.
Acceptance and required verification depend on the receiving service. Re-encoding, merging or editing an issued PDF can affect its signature or verification; use an unchanged original for that purpose.
