Take it step by step
- Read what the exercise measures before answering. Imagine doing each activity; do not answer only according to whether you already know how.
- Complete all prompts honestly, using neutral when it reflects uncertainty. No answer is preselected and incomplete answers are not silently scored.
- Read all six theme sums and compare several possible activities. The IndiaDigital prompts are original and unvalidated; they are not the official O*NET instrument.
- Combine reflection with real experiments, subject preferences and a discussion with a qualified counsellor when the decision matters.
A situation to try.
Enjoying investigative activities may suggest trying a small research or data project. It does not prove that a particular degree, occupation or examination is right for you.
Use the tool’s synthetic example first where available. The example here explains a decision; it is not a reported benchmark result.
Before you call it done.
- Understand the difference between interest and ability.
- Do not treat a score as a diagnosis or career verdict.
- Try an activity before making a major decision.
Know the limits.
The official O*NET Interest Profiler has its own research and licensing. That evidence does not validate IndiaDigital’s original reflection exercise or Indian pathway examples.
This tool’s current boundary: Original, unvalidated reflection exercise. Not the O*NET Interest Profiler, an aptitude test, diagnosis or career prediction.
Evidence and scope
Technical source guidance and task-specific output checks. These do not establish that every file, browser or device passes.
Use the checks above on your own exported result. A source explains the format or mechanism; it is not proof that this export preserved every feature.
