Some moments shake anyone. A few words for each, and where to turn.

Board exams and result day
Fear before exams and results is normal. Parents: on result day, stay close and say "We are with you, whatever the marks". Students: one result does not decide your life; re-exams, supplementary exams and other courses exist.

Losing a job
Job loss hits money, pride and routine all at once. Keep a daily routine, tell family early, and make a short money plan. Anger and shame are common; talk them through with someone.
Grief after a death in the family
Grief comes in waves: numbness, sadness, anger, guilt, even relief. All are normal, and there is no right timeline. Eat, sleep and let people help with the paperwork. If after some months you still cannot manage daily life, talk to a doctor or Tele-MANAS.
New mothers
Many mothers feel weepy for a few days after birth. If sadness, worry or not feeling close to the baby lasts more than two weeks, it may be postpartum depression, which is common and treatable. Fathers can feel it too.

Looking after an elder
Caring for a parent with illness or memory loss is tiring and lonely. Share duties, take short breaks without guilt, and tell the doctor how you are coping too. Your health matters.
Farmers under stress
Crop loss, debt and weather can weigh very heavily. You are not alone, and there is no shame in asking for help. Tele-MANAS counsellors speak your language. Check crop insurance and relief schemes too.
LGBTQ+ young people
Who you are is not an illness. Feeling hidden, bullied or rejected at home is hard. Tele-MANAS counsellors are there for you without judgment. Transgender persons can get an identity certificate and support through the National Portal for Transgender Persons.
Violence at home
No one deserves to be hurt. If you are in danger now, call 112. Women can call 181 at any hour; children 1098. The Protection of Women from Domestic Violence Act gives you the right to stay in the shared home and to protection orders.
